“VIA，We Connect !” 是威盛的企業精神，它具有多重的意義。位於國際會議中心的2樓的VIA，本次展出的產品主要為採用VIA Chipset及CPU的產品，UMD及迷你NB大約就佔了一半，其他還有一些x86的迷你主機版…等。


來自全球的5位專業評審依據創新程度、設計品質、工藝、材料運用、環境相容性、功能、人體工學、實用性、安全性通用設計、品牌價值/品牌行銷，十項標準評選出優秀的科技創新作品，而VIA設計的Cloudbook Max以及Openbook也入圍本屆的創新設計獎。

VIA OpenBook Mini-Note

VIA Nano 處理器為65nm製程，速度從1.0GHz到1.8GHz，待機狀態時最低耗電量只有100mW，相當省電，非常適合UMPC或迷你NB這一類的手持式裝置使用。
* Package size: Compact VIA NanoBGA2 package (21mm x 21mm)
* Die size: 7.650mm x 8.275mm (63.3 square mm)

型號為EX的VIA Mini-ITX主機版，看看與左邊的CX700M2南北橋整合晶片比起來，是不是很mini?

後方IO直接採用RCA接頭，如此一來，如果要接多媒體設備就不需要再轉接啦!

除了Mini-ITX，VIA陸續推出了Nano-ITX以及Pico-ITX的規格，借用一張VIA網站的圖片，如果說Mini-ITX的尺寸適合裝在車上，那Nano-ITX以及Pico-ITX更更適合，但相對來說，價格更貴，case的選擇性也更少。

ARTIGO是VIA推出的Pico-ITX準系統，與市場上一般的準系統一樣，出機不含HD及RAM，ARTIGO的大小剛好可以放進一般電腦的5.25吋光碟機的位置，據內部的報馬仔指出，VIA最近相當重視這個產品，只要雙方坐下來好好談一下，會有一個大家都滿意的結果… 不能說

接下來，我們來看看使用VIA chipset的手持式裝置有那些。
使用螢幕的鍵盤越久，越覺得鍵盤應該是按下去的時候應該是有感覺的，無論虛擬鍵盤設計的有多人性化，實體鍵盤可以『摸的到』的優點是虛擬鍵盤永遠無法取代的。

轉過來一看差點昏倒，承襲了OQO的特色(哇勒~不過是一樣用VIA的chipset，干嘛扯在一起?)，一樣有個『排氣管』在散熱，相信用這個產品報名創新設計獎是不會入選的… 拍勢

媽啊!這台也有，有那麼熱嗎?

看了無數台有共同特色的UMD後，馬克稍微快轉一下，反正很多產品台灣買不到… 拍勢
這一台GIGABYTE的M700與前面幾台UMD就不同了，果然是台灣之光，台灣加油… 很喜歡

車用電子廠商怡利電子的產品，E-Lead 460 Mini-Note，鍵盤部份還是假的。

燈號通通顯示在左邊，馬克覺得這概念不錯。

看這規格，應該是屬於低價NB的產品。

這一台Mini-Note就看不懂了，處理器及晶片組與其他UMD一樣，但目前的市場上的UMD產品價格大多偏高，如果售價接近UMD，有市場嗎?
