車用UI – Modia

Modia為至智新資訊(Softronix)所開發之車用電腦UI軟體，母公司力晶集團為股票上市公司，主要業務涵蓋動記憶體製造及晶圓代工兩大類別，員工人數6300人，資本額新台幣六百九十一億元，九十五年度營收為新台幣九百二十一億元，Softronix以嵌入式軟體開發為主要業務，資本額新台幣三億元，員工人數45人。



Modia，意即 Mobile Media，白話一點就是車用多媒體軟體，軟體所包含的功能有：
1.GPS(外部軟體如Papago)
2.Video(內建codec，支援*.mpg;*.avi;*.wmv;*.mpeg)
3.Music(內建codec，支援*.mp2;*.mp3;*.wma;*.wav)
4.Photo(支援*.bmp;*.dib;*.jpg;*.jpeg;*.tif;*.tiff;*.png;*.gif)
5.DVD(內建codec)
6.Radio
7.TV
8.Internet
另外，Modia有幾個比較特別的功能，1.支援雙螢幕輸出，只要硬體有支援，driver安裝正確，在Modia的Display設定中直接開啟此功能即可，預設為主螢幕導航，副螢幕為TV或Video。
2.支援USB裝置自動撥放，包括Music、Video、Picture。3.軟體支援Radio及TV硬體，安裝硬體Driver，直接從Modia的UI就可以控制，這部份是和RR差最多的，想當初為了要讓RR的Radio功能可以使用，不知道找了多久的硬體，軟體設定研究了1~2星期，實際操作搞了2天2夜，最後還是有些小缺陷而作罷，TV部份直接放棄，而Modia這套軟體，安裝好電視卡Driver後就搞定了，甚至電子節目表都已經內建好… 很喜歡

軟體的反應速度也不錯，全部的size不到10mb，由於與一般撥放軟體類似，馬克就不多做介紹…

Modia是一套容易上手的軟體，十分適合不想花太多時間研究軟體功能的夥伴，從安裝到設定完成不到5分鐘就搞定，相對來說，可以變化或改變的部份也就不多了，比方說skin或是開啟另外的應用程式，另外，這是一套付費軟體，金額應該是在可以接受的範圍，或許那一天馬克推出自己的產品會一併bundle也說不定，報告完畢…
